a-tisket-a-tasket

I have always loved baskets, trunks and trays for storing items. Fond memories of waking up on Easter Morning to find a basket of solid chocolate eggs and more from the Easter bunny.
The above illustration in gouache was done for J.Mclaughlin. I love using a color palette of bright orange, grass green and azure blue for easter. Hope the Easter bunny brings something fun for you in a basket, box or even a trunk!

Such a cute, festive post! I also love the memories of waking up with a basket from the Easter Bunny waiting for me! Such fun, special memories!!! I always had the best goodies in my basket - more than just chocolate. My parents were the best about doing stuff like that!

Happy Easter!

oohhhh i don't think that i have seen a gouache by you before. It is beautiful. It would be fun if you did a post on gouache vs watercolors.
