imagine

pve design personal photo collection - homes nearby
Imagine yourself celebrating in this home. I pass this home several times a week and admire the colors, the red and the tiffany blue door and trim. I often wonder what it might look like inside. I think one day, I may just have to invite myself in, or better yet, perhaps I will do an illustration for a tour. You can imagine how many homes I have collected, imagined and illustrated. I guess with Thanksgiving this week, I think of those less fortunate or those away from home. Blame it on my vivid imagination. You know how I love houses.

Congrats to Alison of The Acorn Cottage, she won the amy butler pattern giveaway.

I too am a collector of houses-some very grand and most small and charming. I love to drive by at night and peek inside... This being a week of abundance for most of us- I think of those that are struggling and not with loved ones. It's time to share and give what we can.
I do think a little illustration would get you in that front door.

I also love different shaped houses. I imagine this house to be early American in decorating, maybe Colonial. Once you get a tour, you can come back and tell us. :)

I too enjoy looking at houses and wonder about the people who live there and their lives. Now and then I will drive over to a different neighborhood to walk the dogs so I can check out the homes. I especially enjoy the beach homes at the Jersey Shore

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

It just looks so very "New England" to me! I can almost smell the applewood logs smoldering in the stone fireplace! Thanks for sharing...

With the whole industry of design getting much attention with DIY, design shows and people needing prodfessional help with their homes. It shows me that people do love them and treat them as a living body. I have always loved all things design within and the landscape of homes. If they could speak to us....what a reveal that woud be.

If you know to listen the home does real itself to the very few. Consider yourself just that lucky and you'll learn it's secrets.

PVE, what a great idea to offer an illustration of this magnificent home - the perfect way to begin your very own 'tour of homes'!

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving! We will be celebrating in the sweet little yellow house with a few good friends.

...and your sweet yellow house is nearly complete. I cannot wait to show you...

This pretty home reminds me of the house in the film Little Women - the perfect old-fashioned type of home to spend the holidays. You should do an illustration. The red would be fun.

It looks like the perfect holiday house. But of course, I have Thanksgiving on my mind! Love the blue door!

That is just the most perfect home! Agreed, that color scheme really makes it. The place is just like a jewel box.
